It was a beautiful night for a session. I met Leo and his parents at Barnet beach for some family photos and I really should have worn my running shoes because this little guy had me running! Little boys are so high energy and busy! Obviously the light of his Mama & Papa’s eyes, Leo was so much fun to hang out with as we followed him through the park exploring the rocks and caves, and sharing some laughs. It was a whirlwind shoot as we chased the setting sun and its gorgeous light. Take a look!
What a truly special session. I first photographed this family when big sister E was born just 18 months ago and I have been lucky enough to call them friends ever since. So when K let me know she was expecting another little one, I was so excited for this baby to arrive and see them again. I meet so many great families and all of my clients are special to me but the C family is truly one of a kind. The warmth and love in this house is contagious and I just love spending time with them. And I knew when this little one arrived, she would be every bit as beautiful as her big sister. Chiara is perfect and dainty, and lovely in every way. And being born just a day before Valentine’s day, my pink & red heart hat looks just adorable on her!
Today I traveled to Burnaby to meet the M family and their brand new daughter Sophia. We set up in her nursery (which also happens to be the most beautiful nursery I have seen in all my life!) and I captured Sophia for her first photo shoot. With her long eyelashes and big round eyes, she is tiny but beautiful. Congratulations T&C, enjoy the sneak peek!
I traveled to Burnaby this weekend to photograph 7 day old Ryan with his family. Little Ryan was very alert and didn’t want to miss a thing! After some patience and snuggles from Mama, Ryan fell asleep and we captured all of his newborn sweetness. Big sister A was my assistant and we had fun playing with all the little treasures in my purse while we waited for Ryan to fall asleep. I love little girls, they are always wanting to be my helper and so proud of the new baby in the house

Today I met the L family to photograph their first baby, 8 day old Chloe. This little peanut has the most beautiful eyes and such dainty features. I loved my session with Chloe, she is so alert already and I loved my snuggles with her! Her newborn squeaks were just precious, I can never get over hearing that brand new baby cry… it’s so pure and sweet. She slept for a good while and woke up to tell us she was hungry and then went back to sleep like a perfect angel. Congratulations I & B, you have a beautiful baby girl… here’s a few from today’s shoot.
